Remote access to VMware Horizon applications
VMWare Horizon View allows to run a remote PC on another device. This device can be PC in the classroom, laptop in the OPF network or at home, eventually tablet or mobile phone.
Available applications are Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, IBM SPSS, eViews, MATLAB, Enterprise Architect, WITNESS Horizon
To login into Horizon view use your CRO credentials.

Access options
There are 2 ways to connect. It can be started from any device connected to the Internet.
To access use the Horizon View page.
First option is web access directly from the browser. Open Horizon view page and select VMWare Horizon HTML Access. You will have to log into OPFNET network with your name and password (CRO credentials are used). The biggest advantage of web access is the ease of access without any installation.
Second option is access via the Horizon client. Client needs to be installed on your device. Visit VMware sites to download client for your operation system here. Compared to Web access, the client offers greater speed and comfort at work. It also has and features in addition (eg printer redirection).
The site is newly signed by the TERENA certification authority. Therefore, it should be available in most browsers directly without the need to install authority certificates.
